An open letter to Mr. Kejriwal

Respected Mr. Kejriwal,
Sir, I never ever doubted your intentions but your style of working. Your sincere efforts towards bringing JanLokpal really need to be applauded. But do you really think resigning from your post is the solution of the issue? Parties like BJP, Congress etc would never ever like their status in Indian politics to be challenged and that is why they will derail anyone who comes to take over them. I really got upset when today in assembly you quoted that "This might be our last assembly session and we will start fighting on streets". This is what the other parties really want.  I hope you remember the basic motive of yours to take your fight from streets to the Parliament. That was because of the belief that if we need to change the system we need to be the part of it.
Sir, what is the guarantee that if you fight from streets you will be heard? Do you remember the Nirbhaya incident? What happened after such a mass agitation against the women safety in our country? You too were part of it. Did that fight pay off? No. Even if you are given a handsome mandate in upcoming Lok Sabha elections and AAP forms the govt, do you really think that passing laws will be that much easy? Haven't you seen the functioning of parliament in our country? How much our parliament has functioned in last 5 years? Opposition with the help of regular and unwanted disruptions doesn't let the parliament work. What if your govt isn't allowed to work in parliament will you keep resigning from your PM's post? Won't that be a joke with the people who voted for you?
Sir the point that I want to make through my letter is that the cause for which you are fighting will have many hurdles in the way and it would be very tough to fulfill all the promises that you have made, but then it isn't impossible. You can fight against the system by being the part of this system. Till the time you have power you can make laws, amend laws. And this way you can take your fight against the system in Parliament as well as on streets. A two way fight is definitely better then the one way. People support you that is why they have given you a mandate to govern. Though a fractured one but even then it is a handsome amount of support and you have to make maximum out of this support. Make the people of our country your existence felt with your good governance as well as your intent to fight with this system. More and more people will support you, will join you and the revolution that we are waiting for would be started that day itself.
You have taken responsibility to make the "impossible" in our democracy as "possible" and that would be an uphill task. I hope you will keep fighting against this system with good intentions and won't budge off  from your duties.
Sincerely,
An Indian !!
